Question by Katie: Recipes with Ezekiel bread (raisin)?
I bought ezekiel raisin bread, it’s really healthy and I like the taste of the bread itself. But does anyone know any others ways to each it? For example, any spreads, or how I can cook something with it, yet keeping it healthy?

I haven’t seen it in real life, is that like Ezekial bread, but with raisens? Or is there any other flavorings in them?

Off the top of my head, I’d make dessert (because apparently I’m a baby (aka beginning) baker…*shrug*)
Spread some butter/Earth Balance/coconut oil on top (a very, very light smear), and top with a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon and bake (do not stick in the toaster, unless you like cleaning your toaster) at 350 for 5-10 minutes (depending on your toaster oven).
Break up, add some milk (dairy or alternative), some sugar, and bake for half an hour so you have a bread pudding thingy (I dunno, sounds good…dunno if it’s an actual dessert)
Berry fool (layer sweetened whipped cream, berries or whatever fruit you want, and the bread pieces). I modified it from America’s Test Kitchen.

Bah, re-read question, you want HEALTHY stuff…grrr, but it has raisins, it wants to be dessert!!!
OK, fine, be healthy *huff*
Top with some almond butter, cinnamon, and sliced bananas (open faced sandwich)
Make croutons out of them (bake in a 400 degree oven for 5-7 minutes, flipping half way through), serve with salad
Bread nou shaak (my mom makes this with normal bread, but it should work with this recipe): slice up the bread into 1″ cubes, add a bit of oil into a pan and stir fry some onions, tomatoes, and green chili, after about 3-5 minutes add some bread, salt, and a TINY amount of turmeric, and stir fry until the bread is slightly toasted. It’s not too weird because the onions add a bit of sweetness, so the raisins aren’t too much out of place.
French toast. It’s kinda healthy, depending on the sugar you add.
