Question by 🙂: Recipes for smoothies?
think if I can replace my breakfast and possibly lunch with some kind of fruit or vegetable smoothie I can help myself lose a lot of weight. So are there any good HEALTHY smoothie recipes out there? Thanks in advance! (:

Here is a Pomegranate Smoothie recipe you can try for breakfast. Makes 2 servings. Here is the website I found this one at:

1 cup POM 100% Pomegranate Juice
3/4 cup soy or low-fat milk
3 ice cubes
1 banana
2 T almonds (these can be chopped in a coffee grinder before adding to blender)
3 T protein powder
1 teaspoon honey or stevia for sweetening

Blend all in a blender on high for at least 30 seconds, then pour into glasses.

OJ, Fruit, and Other Good Stuff:
Here is another thing I do for dinner sometimes.

Use OJ as a base. Add to that a little honey, an egg, ground flax seed or flax seed oil, protein powder, yogurt, frozen fruit of your liking (strawberries, mixed berries, blueberries). You can also add sliced apples, melon, etc.

Be creative, what and how much you add is up to you. What’s nice about this one is it never is the same twice. I like them a little thicker so I can sip it through a straw.
